BOE Varitronix, a leading LCD manufacturer, is currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer I to showcase our Display Products and Solutions worldwide.
Duties include determining customers’ requirements and assist with designing specific solutions to meet those needs. Candidates must be able to demonstrate exceptional technical and problem-solving skills and reasoning ability along with showing leadership in working closely with customers and team members. Candidates must be able to travel in the US and internationally.
Minimum 2-years outside engineering experience in the electronic and manufacturing industries. Must be able to work effectively Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills and reasoning ability to provide solutions. Inquiring candidates must also have the ability to work in a team environment, show great energy and enthusiasm, while maintaining a competitive ability to open and adopt to different needs from customers and team members. Knowledge of Liquid Crystal Displays and the LCD industry is preferred, including engineering design and production. BSME or equivalent is required.

Primary Responsibilities
- Plan, conceptualize, and create mechanical designs for new products.
- Develop testing processes, and perform testing and validation of new designs.
- Generate working prototypes for beta testing and customer demonstration.
- Perform engineering calculations to support design work.
- Create and review technical drawings, plans, and specifications using computer software.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams, and work with vendors, contractors, and customers.
- Perform detailed documentation to track project development and design process.
- Ensure project timeline is met and project stays within budget.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2-years of Inside/Outside as mechanical engineer in the electronics industry.
- Engineering design and production in the manufacturing industry.
- Effective in providing solutions.
- Ability to open and quickly develop new accounts.
- Must work well in a team environment.
- Proficient use of CAD software such as SolidaWorks, AutoCAD or similar, Microsoft suite of applications.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Highly professional attitude and strong work ethics.
- BSME degree or equivalent.
- Preferred Language: English.
